Gulabi Gota

Gulabi Gota is a handcrafted potli bag featuring an embroidered portrait of a Rajasthani woman. The central figure draws from the visual traditions of Rajasthan and is complemented by tamba gota, brocade, zardosi and resham embroidery.

Set against a cream ground, the composition is framed by bright pink piping that brings definition to the silhouette. Unlike a conventional floral potli, Gulabi Gota places a human figure at the centre of its design, making the embroidery a form of storytelling.
